Last of the fabulous episode summaries. Still, 00's back next week. Yay!


Turns out Nunnally knows exactly what she's doing, and also what FLEIJA does. She, like Lulu, wants the hatred of the world to be directed toward Damocles.

Elsewhere the epic battle between the Guren and the Lancelot begins.

Now that Lulu knows the score, he has no hesitation Geassing Nunnally to hand over the key. Such a sweet brother.

Orange-kun beats Anya, but doesn't kill her. He does de-Geass her though, I think.

The Kallen/Suzaku match ends as pretty much a draw. Both mechs get blown to bits, cept that Kallen gets saved by Gino and Suzaku sort of doesn't.

Now that he's beaten Schneizel, Lulu declares himself the ruler of the world. Yay?

2 months later, everyone's locked up for treason, from the piddliest little Black Knight right up to Tianzi and even Nunnally. And they're going to be executed. Suzaku has a nice tombstone though.

Lulu's like haha lol I'm so evil. Then suddenly.......Zero! No, really. He runs right up to our glorious (and fabulous) Emperor and runs him through with an unfeasibly large sword.

Cue a massive ZOMG from everyone present, especially Kallen. Nunnally, who's actually there in front of Lulu, grabs his hand and understands everything. Useful, that.

Turns out the 'Zero Requiem' was all an elaborate plan by Lulu right from the start. He'd build himself up to be the biggest shite in the entire world, a tyrant so bad everyone would forget all about the Massacre Princess, then he'd be killed by Zero. Zero would always be remembered as the hero, and Nunnally could then be Empress and rule over a peaceful world.

Oh yes, and Zero is actually Suzaku. Both he and CC cry as Lulu shuffles off this mortal coil.

More timeskip, then we get to see how everyone's adjusting to peace.

Kallen's back at school, with her Japanese hairstyle and Britannian name, and we even see her mother (not seen since the middle of R1)

Nunnally's Empress, with Zerozaku behind her and even Schneizel there (now Lulu's Geass command to 'serve Zero' makes sense, ne?)

Tamaki's a bartender, which suits him pretty well.

Nice wedding photo for Ougi and Viletta, with pretty much everyone there with the exception of Xing-ke, who's probably dead.. Even Miya (nani, mai hunni?) is there chasing Rivalz.

Orange-kun and Anya are working together. On an orange plantation, no less. So no Sayako x Orange end T_T

CC is being driven through the countryside, still with Cheese-kun by her side, and she's talking to Lulu. And herein lies the mystery. Is she talking to him the way she talked to Marianne? Or did Sayako pull a last minute ninja move and die as Lulu so he could live out an anonymous life? Is he the cart driver? The world will never know. Hopefully.

But seriously, it wasn't the ending that I was expecting or hoping for but it will have to do. Unless there's some "re-telling" with a new ending in the works sometime in the future.

Overall, I was moderately satisfied with R2. Still can't wait for 00 next week though.

Not sure how Lelouch survived.. but with all the dead people coming back in this show whatever. But great series, truly great. I didn't like how he had his little sister tied down like that.. a little perverse if you ask me. I think Nunally just put two and two together when she touched his hand, not so much read his memory.

One theory is that he has his dad's code. And the reason he still has his geass is because he got his code from a different person than who he got his geass from. Of course this is just theory, nothing proven.

Well, theories fly so I guess we can call this an open ending in that sense xD Some can indeed argue Orange cares more for Lelouch's life than world peace so he knew it was not a real death, asides ppl saying codes only activate after the person is killed once, lol

Wonder if every semi-important Black Knight understood Lelouch's real intent or it was only Kallen, Toudou, Kaguya and others o_o And maybe Milly, just maybe haha

Well, supposedly there is going to be an epilogue/ep 26 on the official DVD release(I assume on the final DVD) that will show stuff that happened after the series which will most likely answer the question of whether or not Lelouch is alive. We might also then find out CC's name.

that was a sad ending. it sucked a**. not that it was bad. it was just too saddening.

what really sucked though was the fact that no one realized that Lelouch had a reason for acting like a super jerk until he died.

btw, it he really dead? I mean what was up with the horse carriage driver's face being hidden? though the whole getting stabbed in front of millions of ppl, then the whole memory share thing with Nunnally kinda makes it hard to believe that he did....

And this was a very good series. I think only Kallen realized what had happened. She knows how Suzaku fights and prolly recognized how he approached Lelouch. And the less people that know Lelouch's true intent the better - otherwise what he did would be in vain. But seriously, sacrificing himself for the world and all.. he died a hero in the eyes of those who know what happened. I almost shed a tear at the end.

Oh, +1 for epilogue. I love those, but they don't really need it for this series since they added a small one at the end. I hate when some series end with a lot left over. Some end w/o an epilogue but the ending is good so you don't need one. Ya know? lol.
