Do I believe or not believe in Global Warming?

I don't follow.

we're actually in a cooling phase, contrary to popular hysteria. as the map shows.

Actually, contrary to popular belief, Global warming does not necessary mean the warming of the entire globe. However there are places that are getting warmer.

Most of this is linked to anathema that most humans seem to have towards enviromental change, which seems to have a pattern of change every (10 or 100 thousand year cycle, I can't remember, I believe it is 100 thousand, approximate average).
besides, if anything we've been prolonging the warming phase of our planet since a cooling phase was actually suppose to start coming around... maybe in thousand years the sahara will be habitable and where I live will be tundra.

Although, pumping all this pollution into the air is still bad for the enviroment and for people's health... take alook at the rising casesof asthma linked to people inthe cities.
Heck on those days of heavy smog, doesn't the air seem sickening to you?

Are you talking about Urban Warming? That will always exist as long as crowded gatherings of gas dispensers exist.

Global warming is not urban warming. Global warming if it was as simple as the overall temperature rising just because places like NYC Tokyo HK go up some degrees due to as I said urban warming, then Global warming is a joke

The only serious global warming would BE the whole globe and NOT just the major urban areas.

Warming = warming. Not cooling. People needa realize how much sense theyre not making when they say global warming results in cooling. Thats like saying my freezer heats up my food so I can have a warm meal.

Umm.. if global warming melts the ice caps and the cold water affects the air temperature it could make it colder.

yeah and now that its colder, what, the ice will refreeze? wow that global warming didnt last long XD

no. no it wouldn't. think about it. logically.

Hmm.. good point. Maybe the current takes it away? The biggest problem with global warming is the melting of the ice caps though, right?

but thats the debate. they havent proven yet that its due to warmer air because the warmer air cant be exactly found up there. theres just as equal a chance that its just the naturally fluctuating saline concentrations which will of course affect the melting point of water.

increase salt content = its how you can melt ice without a change in temperature

Its a good debate. lol. And yeah, sorta why ice melt is made of or with salt.

Global Warming...I so sick of hearing it. It's not there! Yes we should watch out on how we use things etc but no more. Only Dems talk about it really. =p

I think Global Warming is a horrible name for it and is often misinterpreted...

I think Mass Climate pattern change would be much mor eeffective... and while Climate pattern does change on an average of every 100 000 years (I think, I remember reading something about it in one of my geography classes), I think that the current pollution is having an effect on it...

Well, if climate change isn'tenough to make you change your habits how about the rising case of asthma in cities where cmog can get really bad in the summer. That alone is enough for me to try to find a solution.
