Dailymail isn't very known as a reputable source.

Unwanted sex=rape.

this isn't new news. a lot of 'rapists' have gotten away from their rape charge because of the sexsomia reason (or whatever it's spelled) because it's a genuine condition, but i doubt that 100% of the convicted getting away with this has this disorder genuinely.

yes they are checked by doctors, some people really cannot control what they do when they are asleep. think sleepwalking. people die from it. sexsomia isn't that ridiculous isn't it?

of course it's unfair to the victim, especially if that scum only used this disorder to get away from the rape charge when he doesn't have this condition (cos health reports can be modified, doctors can be bribed).

but sexsomia isn't bullshit. it exists. calling it bullshit is denying the existence of other sleeping disorders.

ok since we're at this.

details matter.
rape involves actual sexual activity. did the dude just lie on her nakers? if she was wearing clothes of her own, i find it hard to figure out how he could em, put it in while sleeping. that would be some fucktalented/physically impossible sleepwalking. also, generally people, y'know, wake up when being molested. was the charge rape or attempted?

depending on the actual details tho, i might have to call bullshit. if he actualy screwed her, thats abit hard to figure doing in your sleep without the other person, say, noticing.

i say, study the guy's sleep habits first before giving a ruling.

I am sorry but i do not consider that is a rape.
Rape is harsh word that is formally used on intentional or the act of being aware.

Ecott was at Afghanistan... like the article did mention saying "factors such as tiredness, alcohol and stress can increase the chances of sexsomnia"

He had 1 solid Evident such as the RAF is aware of his unstable condition along with his GF supporting him

Even so it doesn't mean he didn't do anything....i just think that he should go to a therapist or something to get help about his "sexsomnia" and serve some community service along with a "if" the teenage is pregnant or not in the near future....

it's hard to say for me. though I will admit, that is some extreme sleep-walking, but what do I know.
